About

KINGSTON SKATEBOARDING was founded to support and grow the local skateboarding scene. Skateboarding in Kingston, Ontario has a long history, with a community that has thrived over the years.

In recent years, though, that community has shrunk, and the skaters who remain aren’t skating together as much. People trying to get into the sport need a thriving community full of varying skill levels—without it, skaters miss out on an essential part of skateboarding: skating with others to drive progression.

Kingston Skateboarding’s mission is to create a place that highlights local skateboarding, a place to share when and where people are skating to create bigger sessions, and a place to inspire the next generation of local skaters.

This community has the potential to grow, but it takes more than one person to make that happen. The more people who submit clips of skateboarding in Kingston, share where and when they’re skating, and show up to other people’s sessions, the stronger this community will become.
